Why us?
SGCIS was founded with the goal to improve the quality of education in the places that we establish ourselves in. By using our experience and knowledge of the Singapore education system blended with International best practices, we aim to create a global community where families from all over the world can feel at home. The way we impact change is by focusing on developing three main aspects – students, staff and the community.
Students

We provide our staff with opportunities for growth and development, inspiring passion for lifelong learning and a community culture for both students and staff to initiate, innovate and be resilient. Each person who joins us becomes a member of our SGCIS family and family look after one another!
Community
Our YEA program connects both local and multinational businesses with aspiring entrepreneurs to help nurture and guide the next generation. Each sharing their journey and the lessons learnt along the way. Collaborating to create a better future for the next generation.
The Farm to Table program connects local farmers with our community to educate and support one another about the importance of healthy and sustainable living.
Top Tier Education at Affordable Prices
At SGCIS, we focus on what is crucial to education – the quality of teaching and curriculum to ensure students learn at a high level. By sharing the use of facilities like swimming pools and fields, we are able to lower the cost of our operation. These facilities take up a lot of space and are not utilised throughout the day and during weekends. This is one of the ways that allow us to pass the cost savings along to our parents.
Singapore Mathematics and Science
Our SGCIS Primary Curriculum is rooted in the Singapore education system, which is renowned in the world for its quality and academic excellence. Singapore has consistently ranked top in the world for Mathematics and Science based on the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) global benchmarking test. When taught by qualified teachers, the Singapore Mathematics curriculum develops students’ critical thinking and problem solving skills, while the Science curriculum hones students’ process and observational skills. These skills not only help to set students up for academic success but are also traits that employers seek.
At SGCIS, we have a highly trained and experienced Singaporean Mathematics and Science teachers who understand the syllabus to ensure students are equipped with the different problem solving heuristics in a fun and interesting way.
CURRICULUM
Our Pre-school and Primary curriculum is rooted in the world-renowned Singapore curriculum which is ranked top in the world of Mathematics and Science based on the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) global benchmarking test. We then incorporate best practices from international curricula from around the world to provide our students with a holistic educational experience.
While the Singapore curriculum is often known to be academically rigorous, the intent is to stretch and challenge children at their own pace. It is vital that these subjects are taught properly by professionals who understand the framework and its purpose. SGCIS was founded by educators who have decades of experience delivering the Singapore curriculum to students both from Singapore and around the world. Together with a team of qualified and experienced teachers we provide our students a supportive environment to stretch and grow their abilities at their own pace.
Beyond Academic Excellence
Students in SGCIS achieve academic excellence by having fun while learning. At SGCIS, learning takes place both in and out of the classroom. We introduce our students to an array of physical activities such as swimming, sand play, ball games to develop their physical and motor skills. Our character development program instils traits such as respect, responsibility and empathy. We also have our own unique programs to allow students to find joy and purpose in their learning while preparing them for wherever the future takes them.
Young Entrepreneur Association (YEA)
YEA is a collaborative community initiative between SGCIS and businesses to help inspire and mentor the next generation of entrepreneurs. By collaborating with business, we are able to create fun and interesting lessons and projects to give our students a hands-on learning experience about money, planning, management and innovation.
Farm to Table
Our Farm to Table program allows our students to experience hands-on learning about food and nutrition by growing various types of vegetables. Besides learning how to plant the vegetables, our students can observe the changes as the vegetables grow, learn how to harvest and prepare them for consumption.
Project Exhibition and Performance
Throughout the year, our students will have exhibitions or performances to showcase what they have learnt. Performing on stage provides students with the opportunity to develop their individual talents and confidence.
