ADMISSION

STEP 1: APPLICATION

Provide:

1. Completed and signed application form.
2. Scanned copy of parent’s passport or identification card.
3. Scanned copy of student’s birth certificate or passport.
4. Passport sized recent photograph of the student.
5. Payment of registration fee.

STEP 2: REVIEW OF APPLICATION

School leadership will review the application form once all the required documents are provided.

STEP 3: PAYMENT OF FEES

When the application is accepted, payment of school fees must be made to secure a place for the child(ren) in the school.

STEP 4: ORIENTATION

Parent(s) and child(ren) attend a day orientation to familiarise the child with the new environment and to learn more about the school culture and community.

STEP 5: START SCHOOL

Child(ren) begin school term.

As an International School, SGCIS accepts students from all over the world, offering flexible grade placement options based on academic background instead of being completely age-dependent. We are proud to be a non-selective School, providing a genuine opportunity to all students who seek to achieve more than they believe they can, with the right guidance and support. We, therefore, cater to students with a variety of academic backgrounds, which means it may be necessary for our Admissions Team to assess each child’s application.

The below table provides the grade for which your child is age appropriate for Playgroup, Pre-School and Primary at SGCIS. Do note that the final grade offered will be dependent on a full review of all required and requested documents.
